2. Overview

FitAttach is an iPhone app that reads a .fit file you select and adds cadence, power, and speed to a matching cycling workout in Apple Health (HealthKit) — or creates a new workout when none overlaps. All processing happens locally on your device. FitAttach does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on servers operated by Halwick Labs or third parties.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

With your permission, FitAttach reads cycling workouts from Apple Health to find a matching workout, and writes cadence, power, and speed values into that workout. This access happens entirely on your device through Apple’s HealthKit framework. Your health data never leaves your device through FitAttach and is never transmitted to us.

Health or fitness data obtained through HealthKit is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold or shared with third parties.

4. .fit files

The .fit file you choose is read only locally on the device in order to write the values it contains into Apple Health. FitAttach does not upload the file or send its contents to any server.

5. No data collection

FitAttach uses no user accounts, no analytics or tracking services, no advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party data-collection SDKs. No usage or diagnostic data is sent to us.

6. Permissions and control

You can change or revoke FitAttach’s access to Apple Health at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings under “Privacy & Security”. Within Apple Health you can review and delete the data FitAttach has added.
